This web site is about the Richmond family who moved from Rhonda Colliery just outside of Teralba, NSW to Blackwater, Central Queensland (a distance of about 1400km) in October 1972.

On these pages you will find information and photographs of all the Richmond family. My Father Al, Mother Judy, me (Darren) and my brother Wayne and his three sons, Matthew, Tony and Dean.

You will also find information about Emu Park, on the Capricorn Coast, where we now live. I must also mention the terrific work that the local Lions Club does for the community with all the proceeds from events such the "Oktoberfest" and the "Festival of the Wind" going to worthy causes in the local community. Their work (and their volunteers) is greatly appreciated by all in the area.
